The August 2022 SIG event focused on Pay Transparency was a great interactive session where we shared insights, learnings and discussed challenges around Pay Transparency and where each of our organisations were on this journey.
During the SIG we found that organisations are at different stages in terms of their Pay Transparency journey, with some further along this spectrum than others. A key takeaway from the session was the need to build manager capability around remuneration in order for them to feel comfortable and have productive conversations with team members on their remuneration. Education sessions for managers on remuneration fundamentals and an organisation’s remuneration framework is a good way to upskill managers and start the journey to greater transparency.
