Chris is the Rewards Manager at Fonterra, providing reward and performance advice to many varied stakeholders across the Co-Operative. Prior to joining Fonterra, Chris worked as a reward consultant delivering simple and pragmatic reward solutions to many New Zealand organisations. Chris also spent a number of years working in the United Kingdom where he helped organisations to design and implement their employee benefit schemes in order to optimise their benefit spend.

Having originally intended to become an Accountant before discovering HR at university, working in reward now provides the perfect blend of people and numbers.

Prior to her current role at Genesis, Hannah has worked in both specialist remuneration as well as generalist HR roles for a variety of organisations and industries including DHL, Vodafone, IAG and BNZ.

Julie originally undertook an HR Graduate programme for Debenhams Retail Head Office in London where she was given the opportunity to work across the different HR disciplines and quickly found her passion for Remuneration.

In 2010, Julie moved to New Zealand with her husband and children and joined IAG on a temporary basis before moving into a permanent Remuneration role working across New Zealand and Australia.  Julie is currently working at Air New Zealand, where she thoroughly enjoys all the challenges that go with working for a large, complex, global organisation.  Julie is passionate about ensuring people are paid fairly for the work they do, regardless of their individual circumstances (gender, age, ethnicity, etc.)

Michaela is the Remuneration and HRIS Manager at AA Insurance, working across remuneration and benefits and also HR systems.

Before joining AA Insurance, Michaela worked in generalist HR and remuneration roles in Auckland, London and Brisbane for large international organisations such as AECOM, Barclays Bank, Bechtel and Vodafone.  Her favourite time of year is the Annual Remuneration Review – mostly because she loves a good project plan and it’s the only time of year everyone is guaranteed to want to talk about remuneration!

Over his 24 year working career, Ryan has gradually moved from an IT technical focus, through HRIS consultancy to remuneration and reward focused roles. He has been fortunate to work for large UK companies such as Virgin Media, O2 and Sky and many international NZ organisations, such as Air New Zealand, Orion Health and currently Xero. The last several years he has worked closely with executive teams and boards on strategy and initiatives that drive employee attraction and retention.
