Wendell has recently moved to New Zealand after spending 10 years in the Middle East. After a career in Fundraising, he spent the last 10 years as a consultant for Hay Group working with over 2000 clients across a multitude of sectors.

Although Remuneration is his passion, he has worked with various organisations on issues like Talent Management and Employee Engagement. This has given him the opportunity to learn about various aspects that impact employee performance. He believes that the key to a great organisation is empowerment and building manager capability

Diane is a member of both the NZ and Australian Remuneration Committees for Tonkin + Taylor and has a versatile skillset gained from her experiences across a wide range of specialist and generalist roles.

Diane fell into remuneration through her life-long interest in numbers and enjoys mixing and mingling with other people in the remuneration domain.

Over his 24 year working career, Ryan has gradually moved from an IT technical focus, through HRIS consultancy to remuneration and reward focused roles. He has been fortunate to work for large UK companies such as Virgin Media, O2 and Sky and many international NZ organisations, such as Air New Zealand, Orion Health and currently Xero. The last several years he has worked closely with executive teams and boards on strategy and initiatives that drive employee attraction and retention.

Irina partners with organisations as a contractor, helping them drive transformational initiatives in the field of organisational design, people analytics, employment cost and remuneration management. She has worked for a variety of local and international clients, both in Europe and New Zealand. Irina’s most recent engagement was working as Remuneration and Benefits Manager for one of New Zealand’s largest insurance brokers, where she worked closely with the executive team to develop and embed a remuneration framework, relevant workforce analytics, as well as reviewing the entire suite of sale incentives and introducing broader non-financial KPIs to reflect the changes in the financial services industry.

Outside of work Irina is a keen yogi(ni) and enjoys spending time with her kids and a large blended family of six.

Salome is a Rewards Business Partner at Fonterra, supporting performance and rewards activities for both NZ and global markets.

She’s particularly interested in pay parity and is a founding member of Fonterra’s Pay Parity Committee. She’s also a committee member of the Co-operative’s “Namaste” Indian community group.

Before joining Fonterra, Salome was a Rewards Consultant for 3.5 years, working across industries to develop skills in job evaluation, benchmarking, pay structures and incentive scheme design. She also played a key role in developing EY New Zealand’s equal pay offering.

Throughout her career Salome’s recognised the benefits of RemNet membership and is excited to contribute to the network’s ongoing success.
